New grant programme for young families starts in September
The region has launched a programme to support first-time housing. We are accepting applications from 1 September 2026.
Who the programme is for
The "First Housing" programme targets households under 36 who are buying or renovating their first home in Vltava Region. The support is paid as a one-off contribution towards reducing a mortgage principal.
- maximum support of CZK 300,000 per household,
- a condition is permanent residence in the region for five years,
- applications are submitted electronically; paper submissions only by exception.
Timeline
Applications open on 1 September 2026 at 9:00 and close once the CZK 60 million allocation is exhausted. For details, see the grant application assessment methodology.
